Silver Moon Concepts/Creations 2000-2005

From 2000 to 2005, I worked in-house as a Concept Illustrator and Designer for Silver Moon Creations. In addition to designing body jewelry and accessories, I prepared photos of their products for use in the database, catalogs, and POP displays. When the company changed hands in 2005 to become Silver Moon Creations, I continued to do product design for them in a freelance capacity.

Belt Buckles
Silver Moon Concepts had a rather extensive line of belt buckles, most of which were designed by me. The production process at the time involved me sketching the ideas, then creating photo-realistic mockups in Photoshop to show our manufacturers in China how the final products were supposed to look.  The images here were prepared in the same manner that I did for SMC's catalog, database, and promotions: I took photographs of samples that I still have, cleaned up any scratches or blemishes using photo-manipulation techniques as well did some color correction in Photoshop.  Many of the belt buckles that I designed have been offered in retail outlets such as Hot Topic, Pacific Sunwear, and The Buckle.
